Troubleshooting on RAM

Below are points to be discussed indications of damage on the RAM and find it.

1. Computer sound "beep" over and over again without long-displaying pictures on screen when the computer starts up. The solution is:

• Make sure the RAM are mounted on DIMM slot with a perfect & locked.
• Make sure that the installation of two RAM chips with the same PC and preferably by the same vendor brand.
• If the RAM is damaged, replace it with a new RAM and better with RAM that has a capacity greater than the damage.

2. Installation of two keeping the RAM that does not fit on a computer often leads to problems, among others:

• Computers will often hang and blue screen appears when we work in an application program or playing games.
• Computers also often can not survive or when booting up.
• The solution to this problem is to replace one RAM chip with a PC and the same vendor brand RAM is only so that both the PC and the brand has the same vendor despite the different capacities second RAM (for the RAM type of single channel).

3. RAM if installed capacity is not sufficient premises, computer performance will be slower in reading data or run applications programs. This can be overcome by increasing the existing capacity of RAM, but it must be with the same RAM and PC will be better if with the same vendor brand.

4. ROM type memory damage will result in blank computer or can not live at all. This can be overcome by replacing the ROM or BIOS upgrade with the same type.
